- Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival presents concerts in beautiful Ottawa churches and offers a wide array of music.
- Ottawa Lumière Festival. An evening festival with performers, large lantern statues created by artists, and members of the public who have made their own lanterns.
- Fortissimo: Beating Retreat Ceremony. The Ceremonial Guard hosts several brass and reed bands and pipes and drums.
- Sound of Light/Les grands Feux an international fireworks competition with the greatest pyrotechnic experts.
- National Capital Show Jumping Tournament. International horse show jumping tournament held on one of the best jumping fields in North America.
- National Capital Regatta brings together the novice sailor and the well-seasoned racer in an atmosphere of friendly competition and camaraderie.

- North Lanark Highland Games. Twenty pipe bands, a hundred dancers and champion heavyweight athletes combine to celebrate Scottish heritage
